Onstage Entertainment’s Game Show Events
Why do Game Shows “work well” for group events? Because people enjoy playing games, and your guests are no exception.
It’s fun to solve a challenge, whether it’s cooperating with teammates or competing with them. Games encourage us to take a chance, offer a guess, show off our unique talents … because with a little humor in a friendly room, it’s great to be right … and safe to be completely wrong!
How many folks watch Game Shows on TV, and are certain they “could do better”? Here is their chance … and their talents can be recognized by friends and peers.
And of course, some folks would prefer to watch, perhaps playing along in their heads, and enjoying the various situations that come up. We can put together a show where everyone plays, or one where guests choose what they’ll play and when.
So many game ideas … and so many ways to put a show together to fit your group!
Most of our games are inspired by games you’ve seen on TV. We’ve adapted them to work well in group event settings. And we work with you to customize the program! Want a single title with multiple episodes? Or maybe a mash-up of several titles, like flipping the dial to appeal to the tastes and skills of different guests? Individual contestants, preset teams, or teams forming “on the fly”? Do you want standard general-interest questions, or some material created from topics specific to your group?
Games are popular as a post-dance activity for schools, as a reinforcement for seminars and class lessons, and for family celebrations (they are even a great family-mixer for wedding-rehearsal dinners!). For corporate events, most programs include 90–100 minutes of game action; shorter and longer shows can also work well. You can even include a Game Show feature within a larger event (such as a Theme party or a Casino night)!
Pricing depends on the title(s) chosen, the location of the event, the size of the group, the calendar date, and the amount of customization you’d like.
We bring the professional host and the technical producer, music and sound as needed, projected game boards and graphics, and state-of-the-art “buzz-in” equipment. You select the prizes to be awarded (if any); we’ll work with you on the number of items needed, within your budget.
