Which game show is your favorite? If we’re not already offering it, we can discuss development. Here’s the ones that we have already prepared. Click a title below to learn more about each game.
Trivia Feud
We are continually conducting and tabulating our own custom surveys — so the answers are timely, and tend to reflect Midwestern sensibilities! Of course, we can also create custom questions as appropriate for your group and event, if you prefer.
Like all our games, we can structure the event for your group in multiple ways. An elimination tournament? A round-robin among pre-set teams? A series of games involving self-selected teams, with prize chances based on participation and performance? This is just the start of the possibilities.
The setup includes the buzz-in station, projected game board, team stations, and audio support.
Trivia Blast / Trivia Elimination
Some of the questions are surprisingly easy, some are pretty tough, and some are even tricky. We include both verbal and “audio clue” questions. The topics are very wide-ranging — everything from recent and ancient history, geography, sports, and pop culture (TV/Movies/Music), to Wisconsin-ivia. There’s something for most everyone! And it’s easy for us to add in questions that are custom to your specific group / event.
Trivia Blast is designed for 3-9 players at a time; each player may be a single person, or a small group of people. You could have the whole room playing at once! Trivia Elimination is designed for even larger groups; 2 teams play at a time, and the winner is the last team with a player standing!
And of course, we can structure your event to match your group and its goals. Whether you are looking for a series of fun games, a tournament, or some other setup — we look forward to working with you.
The setup includes buzz-in stations, score display, team stations, and audio support.
Minit 2 Winit
We have come up with several ways to do this show. You can have guests volunteer to try, to get chances at prizes; you can have multiple teams selecting players to compete against other teams; we’ve even done “Faires” with multiple stations, where the guests can try games more than once.
The setup depends on the size of the group and the mix of challenges in your contest. We bring all the supplies and staff to administer the games.
Trivia Board
The setup includes buzz-in stations, projected game board and scores, and audio support.
The Wheel
The setup includes buzz-in stations with score displays, projected game board, and audio support.
Name that Tune
The setup includes the music, and whatever else is needed (for example, buzz-in and scoring displays).
Trivia Extravaganza!
So we adapt some of the game rules as needed, then add some non-trivia challenges to involve the other players. These are often selected Minit 2 Winit stunts … and they are often played head-to-head among players from each team. Or we can include some Name That Tune segments. And so on! Let’s work on the best format for your group.
The setup is a combination of the Trivia Blast and Minit 2 Winit games. This game has “something for everyone”!
The Really-Wed Game (etc)
The formula was first introduced in the sixties, with Newlyweds. We’ve adapted the game questions for couples who have been married for MORE than a year — what we call ReallyWeds! Then we created additional questions that work for pairs of players who share some connection other than being married … such as co-workers or roommates or siblings.
The simple setup includes questions and answer boards. The questions are chosen to be appropriate to the audience and type of event, as well as the type of partners. (Nothing off-color at a corporate celebration!)
Hold 'Em or Fold 'Em
The game appeals to very specific situations — particularly Fundraisers, where guests can compete for a chance at big prizes. It works best with cash(-value) prizes, but we can adapt the game for other prize choices.
Our setup includes 13 “suitcase” envelopes, and a button-box for the player to indicate whether they will Hold their envelope or Fold it and take the Banker’s Offer. We also develop any scoring or other materials needed for your event.
Extreme Bingo
Everyone knows how to play Bingo. It’s a simple game of luck, just hoping that the right numbers come up to make you a winner. Some folks love it, some don’t.
Now imagine that you get your Bingo cards, and there are no numbers in the squares. Instead, you see various popular song titles! And sure enough, instead of calling numbers, the host proceeds to play clips from songs, in random order. The song titles are displayed on a video monitor, for those who aren’t sure what they’re hearing.
Technically, it’s the same game as Bingo … but it plays differently. Guests find themselves tapping their feet or singing along. We’ve even seen group dances break out in the middle of a game!
You can do an entire evening of Extreme Bingo (especially if you have a smaller time-window available). OR you can add Extreme Bingo to a program with other game titles, as a break from the activity. And everyone has an equal chance of winning!
Our setup includes the sound system and video monitor, the preprinted cards, and a way to mark the cards.
The Prize is Right
The setup includes pre-purchased prizes, and guessing boards; plus the signage and materials for the pricing games.
This title is familiar and fun, but it comes with a couple challenges: it really doesn’t work well for “teams” (vs. individuals), and the number of guests who get to play is fairly small. For realism, the prize budget must also be fairly significant. We suggest incorporating The Prize is Right into a Game Show Medley (described below), to enjoy the fun game while dealing with these challenges.
Let's Strike a Deal
There’s an air of excitement as everyone watches to see: who will the host select to receive a box or envelope, containing a prize? Will the contestant be chosen by finding a guest who brought along some sort of common (or silly) item?
Then it’s more choices — keep their wrapped prize, or take a chance on trading for another item? Will it be something valuable, or a ZONK!?
We bring the host and assistant, prizes and supplies for the various “deals”. This is another show that guests enjoy watching, but only a limited number of them get to play. So we suggest again, check out the Game Show Medley (described below) for the best multi-game option.
That's What I Said
That style can work for some groups. Corporate groups might have their managers fill the roles of the panel; it can also be adapted for family and social groups.
Even before that (in the 60s), Gene Rayburn hosted the original Match Game. This game setup is simpler, and many groups prefer it. It’s played as a team game, with the team members trying to match answers with one another.
The setup includes the host, the answer boards and scoring, and the questions.
The Game Show Medley
If you can imagine clicking the remote between various game shows on various channels, you are thinking of our Game Show Medley!
Select multiple titles, and we’ll craft a show that does shorter versions of each game. The most common lineup includes Let’s Strike a Deal, The Prize is Right, and two other shows — such as The Feud and Trivia Blast. Having different games means you are more likely to appeal to a broader set of guests, AND to have opportunities for more guests to play. You can even combine individual and team games!
Contact us and we’ll discuss your ideas, and suggest ways you can administer prize awards. The setup includes all the items needed for each of the games you choose.
